Description of my Artwork “Chupah”

In more of my recent works, I have chosen to use the circle as it often refers to the circle of life.  The wedding is an integral part of our lives, a joyful occasion that becomes one of the most memorable times of our lives.  I have covered the spectrum in colour to show completeness and a feeling of great pleasure.  Although not traditional, I have chosen to make the chupah in red.  The feeling is exuberance as the guests circle the chupah.  The sky is blue as weddings were traditionally outside in warm climates or on warm days. This is the second piece of art showcased in Baycrest’s gallery.
